Founded in 1864, the St. Louis College of Pharmacy holds the prestigious title of being the oldest college of pharmacy west of the Mississippi River. In its sesquicentennial year, the college embarked on a campus improvement project, commencing with the groundbreaking of Phase 1 on April 25. This phase involved the construction of a new six-story, 213,000-square-foot academic and research building, which saw its first classes held on August 17, 2015.

Paric Corporation and Steel Services entrusted Acme with the crucial task of installing 1,800 tons of structural and miscellaneous steel across all six floors of the building. To meet the demanding project schedule, thirty skilled ironworkers worked tirelessly six days a week. Remarkably, despite the aggressive timeline and intense pressure, Acme successfully completed the project without any injuries or lost time incidents.
